Changing of the Board
This Board is now available for viewing only. I have started a new board at http://www.brodys.com/bboards/. There is an Old Boards link on the new board that will bring you back here if you want to see posts made before the move.
You will have to register for the new board so your board name will be yours and nobody else can use it. It may take a little time to get used to but it is loaded with features (maybe too many).
Enjoy.

Who Rigged the vote?
Hey, the Brody's are back on the Main Stage for the Grandest of all Picnics! At high noon, no less. Who would have thunk it?
Maybe the rain last year caused all the other bands to back out? Who cares, their loss is our gain!

The Times They are A-Changin'
I have a new message board ready to take the place of this one. The message board is a database driven highly customizable piece of software that includes among a lot of other things user logins, searching and the ability to edit your own messages (for those drunken post that are regretted later). There are so many new features that i haven't really figured most of it out yet. but it is software that i have licensed and should be a lot better than the one we are currently using and that I wrote. I could make this one a little better but just don't want to put the time into reinventing the wheel. But now the problem. Importing the old messages could be a major effort so i was thinking of only importing a few messages for now and then allowing the current board to be viewable but disabling posts. More info as we get closer to putting up the new boards. or I may just put it up without warning.

Huh?
Sounds very complicated. Keep up the good work Ye Ol Web Master!
Also...ST PATTYS DAY is only 2 days away. Go see the brodys in Chico at LaSalles...or you can hold off until Saturday and go see them at the G st. in Davis. Either way the beer will be green and the brodys will be....green too!

Hey Ryan
Sorry but the first CD is out of print, but you can download it for free at the CD's page. And if you send an email to brodys@brodys.com I bet Tony Brody could hook you up with a little mailorder action for the 4 song EP and Goody Goody.

CD Whereabouts
Where in Sam's name can I find your older CD's? I've checked Tower Records in Sac. and Davis, I've checked the Beat, I've checked Virgin, I've checked Armadillo, and I've even checked my underpants. All of the stores, excluding my trousers, carried Unexamined Life. I want the other ones too. I'll buy them all and rule the world! Can you help me out... with the CD part that is. Thanks, Ryan

The Department of Order Filling
Ryan, Click on the "send us an e-mail" button (wherever that is these days) and let us know which ones you want, and we can fill your order without the pesky middleman (or middlewoman).
Oh, and about the underwear ... please wash your hands before sending the payment. Thanks for your support!

we'd love to, but.....
We've already booked a band function for that day to celebrate the anniversary of the birth of a webmaster whose talent and generosity are unmatched. (His ability at picking sports teams to support is pathetic, but that's another story.)
Keep us in mind for the next gig, though! Hope it goes well.

Tony!
Hey man, sorry about your Titans this year. That would have been interesting to have them back in Houston for the Super Bowl. Dana and I will be at your show Saturday in Walnut Creek. Talk to you soon!

This year will be even worse ...
for the Titans, because the Steelers are going to take it all!
Tony, don't book any shows for Super Bowl Sunday next year, 'cause I'll be busy watching the Black-and-Gold win No. 5.

That 70's Show
Yeah the Steelers showed a lot of promise against the 49ers last season.
24 years and counting.
Who QB'd the Steelers last Super Bowl win Terry Bradshaw or Alf?

First CD Online
For those of you who have bookmarked the message board and bypass the front page, the long out of print first CD, The Brodys, is available in the CDs section. The songs are in both MP3 and AAC. AAC is part of MPEG-4 and is of much higher quality than the MP3's; however, to play the AAC files, you will probably have to download Apple's iTunes player, which is available for both Mac and Windows. This is a great audio player and works well for burning CDs.

Just a little wish. . .
I hope that everyone has a lovely Valentine's Day...with or without someone to share it with. No matter what...do a little something to pamper yourself!

Wanna dance?
Time warp--remember Ron Givens? The Brodys played at 815 L St. when it first opened up back in '96 and one of the shows there was with Linda Perry (of 4 Non Blondes) who eventually went on to write "Beautiful" made popular by Christina Aguilera ('you are Beautiful in every single way, words can't bring me down') and "Get the Party Started" performed by Pink. Crazy crap. . .Remember when the Brodys opened for Matchbox 20 also in '96? Rob Thomas was quoted as saying he liked "Johnny is a Prostitute." Then there was the burrito incident with the lead singer from Smashmouth in Fresno--all back in the day. And who could forget the show with Kozlo Swicky in Fresno at Woody's?
You shouldacouldawoulda been there. . . . .
